Arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB). Our local representative will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok (130 km / 4–5 hrs). Check in at your hotel upon arrival and enjoy an overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion: Tshangu Lake (12,400 ft / 3,780 m; 43 km / 2 hrs) New Baba Mandir (13,100 ft / 3,994 m; 18 km from Tshangu Lake) Return to Gangtok in the evening for dinner and overnight stay. Note: Carry 2 passport-size photos and valid photo ID. If Tshangu Lake is inaccessible due to landslides, alternative sightseeing will be arranged. Nathula Pass visit is optional and available only for Indian nationals with advance permits.
After breakfast, visit: Tashi View Point Ganesh Tok Enchey Monastery Flower Show Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom Do-Drul Chorten Stupa Namgyal Institute of Tibetology Banjhakari Falls Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Alternate sightseeing: Bakthang Waterfalls or Ropeway Ride (tickets extra) if attractions are closed.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Darjeeling. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Optional activities include Teesta River Rafting at Melli (extra charges). Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Early morning (4:00 AM), visit Tiger Hill to witness sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak. Return for breakfast and continue sightseeing: Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Tenzing & Gombu Rock Panoramic Tea Estate Tour Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Optional Toy Train ride available (extra cost).
After breakfast, transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB) for onward journey. Optional detours include: Pashupati Nagar (Indo-Nepal border) for shopping Mirik Lake for boating or horse riding (direct payment)
